Choosing Colours for your Living room

Colours speaks a lot. It brings out the beauty of everything.

When it comes to choosing a colour for your living room, you should always know that its the first place everyone who visits you see, and so it is important to make your living room come to life with the right colour of paints.

Be creative, when it comes to your living room.There's no question that paints can change the feel of a room, whether old or new.  Use warm and welcoming colours. Using  bright colours and paring them with neutral colours can give your living room just the right look.

Before you choose a paint for your living room, consider

*The type of furniture and decor
*The effect you want to have
*The colours you love

Shades of Grey colour and white make a nice combination. It gives your room a warm feel and very refreshing. Not too bright but definately beautiful. It will make your living room look spacious and colourful.

 Shades of Light blue and white; this colour combination can add a lot of shine to your living room. Colour blue is known to have a calming effect. Try combining light shade of blue and white for your living room painting and enjoy the cozy effect it'll have.

 Shades of yellow with grey or white makes a beautiful combination for your living room. I agree on the fact that in our parts of the world there are different perceptions about the colours we use for our walls, but ok to be different. Try to be different and see who next copies your style.

  Green and grey is very cool. Not too bright but very welcoming. It all depends on how you design the layout, but these two colours will make a living room come to life. You could use more of the green paint and a touch of grey paint or more of grey and less of green, but which ever way you choose,  you are sure to have  your living room as beautiful as you want.

More Colours to choose from;

  • Turquoise, Neon Yellow and Slate Gray
  • Black, White and Powder Blue
  • Soft Blues and Grass Green
  • Moody Blues and Browns
  • Navy Blue Meets Black and Beige
  • Gray, Gold and Peacock Blue

  • Go Bold With Hot Pink

Remember to;

  1. Choose a Color Scheme From the Largest Pattern in the Space. If you've got patterned upholstery, a colorful rug or large piece of artwork, pluck colors you like from the pattern. ...
